I think you misunderstand me. But that's okay many do. it is rough for a 70 year old white man to become an ally to LGBT folks because many of them do not trust old white men or old men of any sort, I would guess. Does that make it clearer? BTW, you have no idea if my life was rough or not.
I think you should read my bio and my pin post. That might help. all I'm saying is being an ally if you're an old white man is tough because of the mistrust that you rightfully engender.
@eshacindyairey.swifties.social I saw your repost - does your allyship extend to material help? Because my top surgery fundraiser needs some help. It's $7k and my surgeon requires it upfront. If you can't donate, a boost would be a big help. https://gofund.me/f74d4f27

White straight dude doesn't have it rough. I'm a 62 yr old white straight broad & I have it easy, like you.
No one's telling US who we can't live or marry!
They just want to control my BODY!!
I mean it sounds like it really is not tough for you. Just be nice or don't.
I don't know what I'm responding to here. Like, just don't be weird about different people finding their own way through life.
I think the stereotype can lead to some really positive interaction though, once they are moved past.
#Ally.
Love my LGBTQ friends & they accept me for being straight (it's our little joke since I was in the Navy).
Any time.
We all need to be reminded that little victories are worth as much as the big ones.
