I speak pretty fluent Ladino, but Ladino did not exist yet during the Inquisition, though. It developed after the exile, in the lands Sephardic Jews settled in.

Portuguese Jews at the time simply used the same Portuguese as Christians, except for some Hebrew words for religious terms.
