Taking a page out of the Vince playbook and attempting to destroy/claim power over what amounts to the territories today. Already helped cover up sex abuse, will he move onto covering up a murder next?
All i want to know , the only thing, where is all the fire? When we had one more belt than wwe it was all "they got too many belts" Kevin Nash making comments bully ray the lot of them. Where is that energy?
OH BOY! Two more titles to add to WWE's ever expanding list. I believe this brings it up to 22? (If you count the Heritage Cup, 21 if you only want to count actual belts). Sure, why not.
Seriously though, do they REALLY need MORE? Are these REALLY necessary? A traveling set of "territory" belts?
So basically, they're outing their hand that the whole ID program is a trojan horse to gain further control of the independents and to prevent AEW from signing new talent. Anyone with a clue of how WWE operates knew that was the case but it's interesting that they are being open about it now.
The reality is AEW probably has 11 titles on "TV" which isn't including HonorClub but beyond the ROH world very rarely is a ROH title defended so it's easy to call this 9 because AEW has 8 belts.
The point here is that this argument fucking sucks and is always bait.
I wouldn’t mind all the titles in AEW if they were all actively used. But the trios tag titles have been an afterthought since the Bang Bang Gang lost them, and same for the tag titles since Private Party’s win over the Young Bucks.
I didn’t say they’ve been absent, I said they’re an afterthought. The trios titles have been defended once in 2025. Their last PPV appearance was 6 months ago. Private Party got their win, had one successful defense, then lost to the new signings.
Okay, fair enough. I was wrong when you consider ROH, but I wasn't thinking about them. I was mostly referring to how they have three different men's midcard titles and all of them feel lesser to me personally because of that.
This is such a bs cop out to me. The different brands bit. They still crossover WWE has three men's world titles, the intercontinental, and US championship. They have just as many singles titles. AEW has 4 men's singles titles on the AEW brand. World, Continental, TNT, and International.
It’s their program they have on the indies were the “give back” to talent by offering them resources with the caveat that if another company wants to sign them WWE gets first dibs lol

And yes, I am judging people like Ricky Starks, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Malakai Black. I hope their paycheques are worth their souls.

WWE: hold my beer kids
WWE has three shows, including NXT. Yes, WWE has "far" more shows but like for like.
WWE has 17 titles on TV, and I'm not including the 2nd belt Cody technically has nor the WWE speed title.
AEW has 15 titles on TV, if you include every single ROH title.
The point here is that this argument fucking sucks and is always bait.
