I’m kinda blown away by all these TikToks of people showing up to Republican reps’ town halls & letting them have it over Musk/Trump/DOGE. It seems grassroots. If it becomes a lasting trend to go to town halls, shout down people who are lying to you, and post it online, we might all survive this.

I’m active in the League of Women Voters and I attend all candidate events, but my US Rep and Senators never show up and they never hold town halls.

I’m getting a lot of doomer predictions as replies to this post, so I remind you that doomerism is unwelcome in my replies.

Predicting that a bad thing will happen only helps one group: the people who want to do the badness.

Don’t help them. Spite them with hope and determination.

Not really doomerism - it is their playbook - i've seen them attempt it in my state - cautiously, but moving toward it. If people know about the playbook, they can watch for it
