You're not wrong about the chicken but I fuck with the sauce pretty heavy. The first four AC games were incredible but the story took a turn I really did not like. Also gameplay in the recent entries isn't anything special so I'd say you're not missing out too much

Mikey, I suggest looking into a game series called Dishonored.

It's the spiritual successor to Thief, and it's, in my opinion, one of the best series ever made. Award winning, critically acclaimed, and very fun.

Despite Ubisoft's decline, I love the AC franchise. The Ezio saga is PEAK and those had the best controls out of all of them.

I'm playing Valhalla now.

I also recommend Syndicate. Victorian UK, NPCs getting stuck walking into light poles. Your HQ is a train. And great use of 2 main characters.

I played a bit of the first game. Gave up when I got the parry ability and it trivialize the combat. Also the first guy you assassinate gives you a monolog WITH A KNIFE IN HIS CHEST. The future stuff wasn't that interesting either.

I tried the first AC, but didn’t like it.
Tried AC Black Flag a few years later and it was one of the most fun games I’ve played
Great to pick up & play because you can do missions, side quests, collectibles, ship combat, armada control

their chicken is fine, but yeah bland af, and their sauce is f'n gross so they just aren't worth it. I'll take KFC over Caine's, just cause it's cheap and tastes of SOMETHING even if it doesn't taste great. But usually I go for Popeye's blackened tenders. Yum!
