What I can’t believe is at one point, Trump considered going left of Bernie to capture the popular vote. Bannon convinced him to go right, and the rest of this slide into rightwing hell is history.

I had many friends who didn’t vote Hillary because of the way Bernie was treated. I told them, don’t punish yourself and the country for that. But they blamed Hilary and the DNC. Now I don’t know how they sleep at night.

It breaks my heart. One of my friends cut contact with me because I warned him not voting Hilary could lead to a spiral of hate and repression no progressive wants. I didn’t push, I just laid it out as I saw it. Bannon encouraged that divide among the left. Discourse died it seems.

Right. Although just imagine if this popular swing was advocating for universal healthcare and fair deals for workers? I can’t see that compatible with kleptocracy though so… Bannon would have got him sooner or later
