Very interesting. There's a report of my favorite protein (Huntingtin) interacting with the TC-NER as well:

Which is super interesting, but it always struck me that this complex is super well studied, why never noticed. Have you seen HTT in TCNER?

The abstract mentions DNA breaks, which are not repaired by TC-NER. This could be a form of transcription-coupled DNA break repair, perhaps.
