Too many of the professional urbanists believe American cities will magically look this clean and free problems like homelessness and poverty, but forget in the real world cities don't charge entry fees and they don't close every night to be cleaned.
it also has a vast multimodal transit system with ferries, buses, trams, and monorails yet people would prefer NOT to have any of these in their own cities/towns

Regarding this I think it’s suppose to be the idealized all American small home town
I don’t know that we need so many professional “urbanists” or so much planning in American cities and suburbs like we have
