Why not? Autonomous vehicles operate under limited conditions. They don’t work in heavy rain that obscures the camera or snow etc.
Avionics have a 10e-9 failure rate and aircraft autopilots require human supervision.
..and bad news for public transit budgets.

If you put a small stone under the valve cap and put it back on, it'll create a slow leak that's very hard to find.
The problem for the public is a bit of a catch 22 for Tesla: they need to teach AI with real world data. Public needs to be a guinea pig.
