I’ve said as much during story meetings. What about the children who are already isolated because they feel different. Refusing to show them they matter and deserve to be in stories we see just causes them more pain which sounds to me a lot worse than having a conversation with your kids.

Last time they weren't organized and got not a lot done. This time, they have a disturbing plan.
Not one bit of this helps the discussion or trans kids. It just leaves trans kids isolated still and looking for representation.
Or some parents don't like discussing with their kids, only telling them things.
Have a conversation with your kids about how you still love them and they shouldn’t be ashamed.

The parents were never going to be kind or understanding without first learning why this suffering exists to begin with.
The film was shit, yes.
