don't worry he's an android built to eat spicy peppers and solve climate change, also he looks like a dog because a dog looks friendlier than a metal beast
Am I glad he's frozen in there and that we're out here and that he's the sheriff and that we're frozen out here and that we're in there, and I just remembered, we're out here. What I wanna know is, where's the caveman?
The reason you're catching crap from folks is because dogs are a lot more sensitive to capsaicin than humans are. The whole point of the plants producing it is to keep animals from eating the fruits. Birds, on the other hand, seem to be okay with it. Makes sense because they spread the seeds better.
I believe it. I'm not saying he doesn't. My parents raised dogs for show when I was growing up and I was the child that got stuck spending all my free time having to take care of them. Our dogs would eat them but most of them would get sick afterward. Some would even target puke/shit for days after.
LOL! Well, seems some of those ripping on you already considered that. I'm not knocking you for posting it. I was just trying to explain why so many had such a strong reaction. Dogs like the taste of chocolate, too, but have you ever seen where vets tell you not to give it to them?
It's really bad for their digestive tracts. Then again, any sudden change in a dog's diet can cause problems, even if it's just a mess to clean up for their owner. ;-)
I had a samoyed years ago that would steal Tabasco peppers off the plants in our garden. She never seemed to have an adverse reaction, but she tended to just lie down with them and take little nibbles, then twitch her gums and lick her lips. I think she just liked the heat.

Astoundingly, one of them loves Wasabi!
Dogs are carnivores, and peppers are made of plant.
