I do contract graphic design work and I’ve already had a few companies I work for say they’d hire me at $0 and tip me for any work I do. I heard lawyers and financial advisors will do the same.
They won’t have any employees anymore because we aren’t gonna tip anymore or a lot less… they will now have to pay normal wages to get employees in the door
He talked about “Carried Interest” in 2016 but Mnuchin and Wilbur Ross killed that in the crib. It will be interesting to see if he sticks w/any of this.
Everybody who works on commission is suddenly going to be a tipped employee. “My commission for selling this house for you is 0% but I’ll take a 10% tip instead.”

There is a question about paying into social security. But if you’re in your 50s and already paid 20 strong years in, the tax-free option in tips will be a good approach. But everyone is different.
I do question how a life-long server who only pays tax on $3 an hour will get social security at 70.
1.) Adelson's buy Mavericks.
2.) Luka to Lakers in 1 sided trade.
3.) Trump raises taxes on sports team owners.
4.) Jeanne Buss forced to sell the team to Elon for financial reasons.
In an alternate universe, the worst thing Trump ever did for the country was buy the Bills and be a crappy owner who eventually was forced to sell the team when one of his many transgressions came to light. Because we hold team owners to a higher standard than Presidents.
Interesting!! I just hope Americans don’t fall for the no tax on overtime. If you read P2025 you would understand he wants to up the number of hours you would have to work in order for it to be considered overtime. I think but don’t quote me it’s anytime above 180 hours per month
