If 87% of music on Spotify isn’t reaching the 1000 plays required to get paid a pittance, then surely we need a new economic model for the time that goes into music and how it can self-sustain and be supported by 100-500 people in a way that’s mutually beneficial
Feels like the “for profit” model can’t support this but other infrastructure maybe?
