Oh gods this will be good @_@
1) Gosh this is good
2) This is a mighty project that took an entire year - why 1 x 4.5 hour video instead of 3 x 90 minute videos?
3) Gosh this is good
4) If I'm watching on Nebula then a 'support me on Patreon' insert feels weird. I though I was supporting you by watching you on Nebula?
2) YouTube makes it really hard to sell a series unless each vid works completely independently, monster vids have done well for me in the past, and doing it all as one thing means that if I change or catch something that affects an earlier section, I can still adjust!
3) Thank you!
4) A weird Sony Vegas quirk means if I delete anything, I end up with a bunch of dropped frames that I can't catch without rendering, watching all the way through, and rendering again. So unfortunately my choices were to leave the plug or to post a worse video. Thank you for watching on Nebula!
PS I'm a teacher librarian so having someone take apart both the text and the TV adaptation is both personally interesting and professionally useful. So again, thank you!
Chapeau

A few years ago I was on a panel with Grossman where he strongly implied that in his original draft Brakebills & Fillory actually were Copyright Infringing Places, and lawyers said, "Please do not do that", so he changed them in the rewrite (and, in his opinion, greatly improved it.)
Well and nicely done.
It is for work like this that @nebula.tv is a seriously worthwhile subscription.
Now I'm β through the 2nd book and when my motivation wanes I remember, that once I'm through all 3 I get to finish that videoπ
iykyk
Enjoyed it a lot. Even though as I remember watching the Magicians as a good show where I didn't like the last season.
I think it was because of how the female characters got treated, though it is to long past, thus details are fuzzy.
