I listened to an excellent interview of Mark Carney recently by @profgalloway.com, and was struck by Carney’s comment that it was not simply Trump’s belligerent annexationist rhetoric that shocked Canadians, but the muted reaction of US business and civil society leaders. There’s a lesson there.
