I don't see the issue there though, I don't really like the 100 year game dev pipeline, I'm 100% fine with reusing assets to hell and back if that means the game is more manageable, especially with execs wanting every game to have Everything and to sell a bajillion copies

I'm not implying it is a problem, just stating what's the motivation behind it.
Although there's an interesting duality in how the majority of players is totally fine with such practices in Japanese games, but much more critical when western studios do it, but that's for a whole another discussion

Were you able to ask how much the maps will change in different runs? As that's a pretty crucial part of what they're going for but wasn't present at all in the previews. Also curious if it'll be in the net test at all.
