She's not wrong.. we as a country did not do right by the people who live here and lived here first. They literally should have 51% of the seats in our gov.. sorry not sorry.
Don’t blame the indigenous sister. Even Lincoln had 30+ indigenous men hung at one time. Colonists hated the indigenous people and saw black people as chattel. There will be an even playing field at the judgement, then it’ll be seen whether these” great” men were truly great.
My heart broke when I read what the story of Mount Rushmore (well, Tȟuŋkášila Šákpe). Just pure white supremacy, rubbing it in the faces of Native people. Disgusting

Back in the day, we had tee-shirts with a cartoon of a mouse flipping off an eagle about to kill it. It said "The last, great act of defiance!" Back then, Americans rankled against *any* authority. ANY! Some may have rolled their eyes, or even disagreed. But everyone saw it as American to the core.
Now, it seems everyone has taken a side. No one is a rebel for the sake of rebellion. Plain old petulant, obstinate, revolutionary "fuck you!", "question authority" seems gone. Maybe not, but it seems that way to me.
My side is fuck Capitalism, Colonialism, Religious loons and Patriotism. I'd love the opportunity to live free somewhere in a tent on land and people let me pursue my own nature spirituality.
