I don’t know if it’s just the spaces I visit, but I see a lot more dialogue…

Better late than never at the end of the day. I guess this is one of those moments where you remember you don’t need to like or agree with people to try to come together in coalition, and this is how the seeds of change can happen.

Media has done a real solid job obscuring facts and sensationalizing stories as distractions from the reality that it's us against the billionaires. I don't think all of these folks can be reached, but I do think the open dialog is important and worth trying.

Feels bad when the only time they decide we're worth talking to is when their boss's boot is pressed upon on our throats. Some real gunboat diplomacy there.

A different take could be, the "masterminds" at the top want us divided and not talking with eachother. Some dialogue is better than none.

I agree. It’s not fair, and it never will be. But at least there seems to be some path forward now rather than us yelling at each other for our collective demise.

If we are able to continue this trend, maybe we can finally focus on the things that matter and not let such bitter divides break us each election cycle.

I know it sucks that we have to play nice with people who actively call for us to be deported, jailed, etc. But the current climate isn’t working: we are fighting each other and driving them to be more radicalized, and furthering the gap and giving the ruling class more power.

A better educated public leads to a stronger country, and the only way we can start to de-radicalize the nation is to have the option for more dialogue.

The past decade or so has done a lot to encourage people to stay inside and online.

But the barriers become less tall when we can get out and see each other.
