Thinking a protest travel business would do well over the next few years. Since Americans are unwelcome outside of America..transport Yankee
folks to USA protest hot spots, travel with like minded people..include good food.

I remember Die-Ins in 2002-2003 protesting the 2nd Iraq invasion on college campuses.

They appealed to the already onboard folks. But what really worked best?

a 24/7 vigil in the literal town square with dialogue between opposing factions. It was hard, messy, and ultimately more effective.

It reminds me of when we liberals re-traumatize sexual abuse survivors by having them relate their stories in front of smug male politicians -who couldn't care less.
It infuriates me that we actually think sharing vulnerability with the unworthy will gain sympathy. It's degrading and sad.

Amazing how word gets out to create the “gravestone” shaped signs. Reminds me of how we created Arlington NW in the Portland park blocks with a “gravestone” for each soldier killed in Iraq. Each church congregation around the city made 50 of them .
