My understanding is that you'll also need twins TV. MLB gets you all out of network games (twins still blacked out locally), twins gets you only in network games. Of course both are blacked out if there is a national broadcast of the game.

Yeah, that's how it worked last year for Padres and Diamondback fans. If you were out of market, you don't need to pay extra for the Twins.TV. If you are in Market, I think you can just get Twins.TV if you don't want the other games. If you want all games, you would have to get MLB.TV and Twins.TV.

Problem is that MLB doesn’t do in house broadcasts for Brewers, Cubs, White Sox, Cardinals and Royals. Those are all blacked out in Iowa on MLB.TV. Which is so, so dumb.

For the Rockies last year, you could get both packages for $200, so a $50 savings over buying individually. Iirc, you had to go through the Rockies page to do it, not MLB.

I’ve seen it reported elsewhere that they are two separate packages, Twins TV for in market, MLB TV for out of market. Seems clunky to me. Congrats by the way!

Can anyone here speak to whether https://mlb.tv is a good app? Stable, plays well with casting, etc? I'd pay the $100 for https://twins.tv but not if the app sucks.

(I'm aware https://mlb.tv doesn't give me the twins, but https://twins.tv doesn't exist yet, so I'm assuming similar interfaces)

I’ve been streaming https://mlb.tv for maybe a decade. I can count on one hand the issues and typically was something with the syncing of radio audio with tv video (primarily in spring training)

Various - Samsung smarttv app, Roku, Apple TV (years ago), iPad l, iPhone. Had a couple Samsung app issues but they seemed more tv related than the app.

Agree! I’ve had https://MLB.tv from the beginning (in MT) and it’s been great! Also have NBA, ESPN for Wolves, Wild and the MLB system is by far the best. Very reliable!

Yes but MLB is handling that portion and doesn’t yet have specific info on what channel it would be. But tradition over the air broadcasts will be there.

The Rockies announced their cable/satellite packages only a few days before the start of the regular season, so I'd highly recommend holding off on buying this package until very close to the start of the season.
