Absolutely this. Trump's DOJ will not act in good faith or with any sense of alacrity, or anything else approaching an effort to bring Abrego Garcia back for due process in a timely fashion. The longer he's in CECOT, the greater the chances are he becomes a "non-problem" for the Trump.

This is important bc it means there will be a fight about what the govt can or can’t do to bring about the return. That is, the exec branch might say they can’t actually bring about return, or can’t do X, Y, or Z to effectuate return.
