It's not surprising that Trump defers to El Salvador while he threatens Greenland. It IS consistent. In both cases Trump is deferring to Silicon Valley neo-fascists. They dream of seizing Greenland, while El Salvador president Bukele is their guy. He's a test case for a crypto-powered autocracy. 1/
