People have perceived her to be sensitive and strict. I’ve seen the word “halfrican” thrown around to say that she is a try hard as it relates to her culture. This most recent issue on TikTok just emphasized her stringent and sensitive nature when she called out a group of tiktokers for “bullying”.
As someone who’s watched Jackie on YouTube, I think that Jackie is a little too sensitive to have been in content creation for so long but I support her setting her boundaries and blocking as she sees fit because she’ll get critiqued left and right for the rest of time as a creator.
I do think she’s being hypocritical by commenting on the “serial yappers” since she is essentially sending her followers to attack them (I know she said for them not to) after saying that’s how they bullied her. Also, Jackie trying to control the masses discourse about her is a waste of energy.
I agree with what you’re saying. She has a large influence on TikTok so her telling followers not to attack those girls is a bit somehow.
I do think she’s very sensitive (rightfully so) & social media isn’t the nicest space. What I don’t get is why people care so much about her blocking them?
I don’t really get that part either but I think a lot of people don’t expect for someone especially someone with as big of a following as Jackie to block them or they don’t expect for something they said or did to impact her to that point.
