It sucks going through the list of shootings in that article and realising that you barely recognise a quarter of the events. Mass shootings are so common in the states that they don't even register any more.
I mean, why would you? After some time I just realised that the people who can do something about it just don't give enough of a shit to actually do something tangible that would put an end to it. I feel bad for the victims, but if a pile of dead kids isn't enough for change, nothing is.
