After reading things like this from him, I find it more and more unbelievable that half the country thinks this guy is qualified to be president. What a mess the next 4 years will be!
Such a childish narcissist! I can just imagine how these people Donnie humiliates absolutely loathe the nasty slob. Word is most of the Congressional Republicans absolutely hate his guts.
The reason so many of us are frustrated with Trump somehow again avoiding accountability is that few people in the history of this nation deserve to have a reckoning as much as he.
We're long overdue for a major recession. Not rooting for it, but the best time for it to happen is early 2026 so that the public won't believe him when Trump blames it on Biden.
I don't think there is any point at which they will not blame Biden. It could happen in 28 and they will still blame Biden. There will never be an 'I don't you so' emotional satisfaction moment - the truth is whatever they want it to be.
You're right. I guess we can dream of a day when people care about facts again. Trump is said to have become popular because "he speaks his mind, unlike politicians" (i.e., they wanted a demagogue). I suspect at some point the public might want a fact-based leader again. Not holding my breath.
Silver lining? It will damage them for decades when this reign of insanity ends. I still say they are going to do so much wrong in so short a time that the mid-terms change everything.
I'm not sure what flabbergasts me more: the moronic, low-info voters who put this idiot back in office, or the educated professionals who sign up to be verbally slaughtered like this.
I'm much more flabbergasted by the contortions that well-educated Trumpers go through to package his malignant, self-absorbed idiocy as a very special kind of patriotic virtue & wisdom.
I'm not. We're too nice to them. This coddling normalized their deviancy, which is their persistent support for a rapist, a felon, and vile insurrectionist. These are bad people and we appease them by refusing to ridicule and ostracize them.
That "unprecedented peace" was just a normalization of relations between countries that were not in conflict, and largely a formalization of warming processes that had been going on quietly for years.
It had a lot to do with business opportunities, and it did not actually bring peace.
"Congratulations! You're hired. Don't unpack your bags, though, because I reserve the right to fire you at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all. Like now — you're fired!"

😫
That’s what republicans have gifted us
Thanks
Weakness!
But alas, we're too nice. Couldn't bring ourselves to say fuck off, goodbye, this time it's permanent.
We will be sorry for being too kind.
GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
His hatred, lust for vengeance, and demand for appreciation tangle up any other message here.
It had a lot to do with business opportunities, and it did not actually bring peace.
Only Trump could have written that paragraph.
Or maybe Susan Collins wrote this for him. After all, she decided Trump had learned his lesson.
I kinda like it.
Let me put it another way.
At a time (2008-) when people ever more desperately want real change in government staus quo, I can see it's appeal
To people who don't care who those people are
Maybe the bulwark should have a mad-libs nomination contest... We could all write bonkers things and vote for the craziest 😂
