Is it fun, for people who prefer the older AC games to the newer ones? I didn’t play Mirage, because I found Valhalla so disappointing after the shitshow of Odyssey, so I haven’t tried with Shadows.

Every time Ubisoft says they’re making shit for fans of the OG games, they turn out to be lying :/

It’s genuinely a good game the stealth mechanics feel really good and the visuals are wild.

The only thing I don’t like, and it’s pretty much a problem I have with RPGs in general is the gear slop, I much prefer less weapons with more variety.

Also mx transactions in single player games.

My problem with ubisoft is with the board's "you don't own the game you bought, we do" and not the content of the game. Years ago they added DRM to my decade old steam purchased game, and then abandoned the ubisoft connect software they made a requirement, they can keep their games. No interest.

Further into the game it becomes an optional switch that you can toggle between at any save or fast travel point! The ability to choose switches is making it much more fun for me.
