Correction, they arrived a few hours ago and as far as I'm aware, they aren't doing anything because turns out there's nothing for a deployed national-guardsmen to do in a city with practically no unrest aside from some small protests.
No, but it takes time to actually do the logistics. Permits to convoy, where they gonna sleep, what gear is needed and loaded up, child care/job situations to get sorted.
Normally, this process is helped by state/local government welcoming them like during natural disasters but without it and with an unclear mission (what are they doing ice/dhs/local pds aren't), the process is a lot harder.
I have seen no evidence of it, but hoping for some clarity this morning. Bass says they weren’t deployed in LA proper, but Paramount is outside of that.
News reports said it would take them 24 hours to arrive. Trump posting to thank the National Guard is actually talking about ICE or LAPD (and acknowledging there isn't a riot)

So I'm inclined to say no.
Not exactly on time to do much hahaha
Claimed informed person says some NG reported at 2am, rest at 9am.
