Ni no Kuni
Finally got to play this!! The ghibli cutscenes were great and I loved the familiars. I feel I have gotten my expectations too high though, since I enjoyed NNK2 and everyone said its terrible and this game is infinitely better lol. I enjoy them both!

Last years ultraman was so good I wasnt sure how to feel about this at first but IT WAS REALLY GOOD. Lots of strong episodes. Internet kanegon and that one surrealism episode are my faves. Also loved ep14&15 and the finale. Great show, just wish I could watch the stageshows as well 🥺
Early 1900's detective drama which is exactly my alley and I LOVED IT! The costumes and sets were so good. Its also nice seeing them focus on developing the main characters and even the characters I expected to be weekly guests were reoccurring characters I love that so much
I was worried I won't like this one since Kingohger was REALLY GOOD and I don't do well with back-to-the-basics stuff but... IT WAS FUN!! I remember seeing people say that theyre bringing in a great writer and they were right. Really fun show, crazy good finale arc!
Back to watching more asadoras! This one's loosely based on the founders of Yoshimoto Kogyo. A bit more light hearted and funny vibes since it deals with comedy. Overall it was fun to watch! Theres another jdrama coming out based on the same person so I think I'll check that out as well 👀
Loved it! I was a bit worried because of the late night timeslot+lots of highschool girls+directed by sakamoto but it was good! The main character being a huge toku nerd was really fun to watch. I wish this was on the 40min timeslot instead of 20min because I wanna see moreeeee
My next asadora and...WOW THIS WAS GOOD. Its got 3 protags in a story spanning 100 years instead of the usual 1 protag format. Sometimes it felt like watching a completely different show but it all comes together in the end and worth watching it all. Loved it!
1&2 are so fundamentally different that it's hard to definitively say that one is better than the other.
I *prefer* the first one, though I just love the creature capture battle system and story that's less about the world's politics.
But they're both fantastic!
