Is there no match on the international registry? It didn't exist way back when but as police were looking that they were sure I was a 4 point match. My landlady whose grandchild I had moved out with to look after her shielded me. I was surprised I'd be anyone's 4 pt match but alas not 6

Usually you are registered for 4 pts of 6. Maybe it's changed , If you fully match the donor has marrow taken out of their hip It is more difficult for the donor but it saves lives There are other things you may have in you to give so have a look at what your nations living donor options are
