This is bad. On a not so important issue I’ve been waiting nearly six months for a routine NHS hearing test. I’ve been texted twice asking whether I still want it. No idea how long I’m going to have to wait.

So many barriers to fixing it. Lots of doctors happy to do extra theatre lists on Saturday but trusts won't pay team overtime rates. Sometimes it all works out but there's no beds.

majority of gynaecology surgery needs daycare or 1 night stay, need to shift to working outside acute hospital

I’ve been waiting 5 months for urgent gynae surgery that should have been done in August. I’m not so much in pain but my issue is putting pressure on various organs and putting pressure on nerves to my legs which is worrying & I don’t know when they’ll call me

Waited 31 months for a bilateral oopherectomy . Had lost all my hair by this time and had to be discharged from the recovery room as they did not have a bed for me . Thsi was after a 9 month wait to see a gynaecologist.

Solution: Hire more doctors and nurses and pay them well. i'm sure the United States is full of medical staff tired of fighting the rapacious US medical industry and would love to work away from Trumpistan.

I was referred for a gynae appointment November 2022, earliest appointment the hospital had was July 2024. Had to pay for a private appointment in January 2023 so I could actually talk to someone and get diagnosed.

I was recently diagnosed with fibroids. The pain is horrendous, it gets worse the longer I wait for treatment. I’ve been told I will have to wait 18 months just to see a gynaecologist. I know there are women with far bigger and more numerous fibroids and they’re not getting the treatment they need
