Dealing with the problems is more important.
It gets easier to comprehend for the nation every month that passes. And plenty of outside observers will help that cause.

Ideally, they would. Realistically there is no effective method of taking down the rights ‘alt truth’ propaganda. Inexplicably facts don’t actually matter in a world where ‘experts’ are the enemy. Until that changes I honestly believe that it’s political suicide to reopen it.
Benefits should be framed in terms of the problems they would help solve.
