There is now a clear and regular disconnect between what he says he will do and what actually happens.
By the way I bet you wouldn't be saying it was the right decision if it was men involved. I notice it's usually blokes that think this doesn't matter....I wonder why 🤔
The 1995 pension age rise? No. Well known about in 2006, 90% of affected women were aware. The ombudsmans report mentioned this.
The government response is clear too. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/response-to-phso-report-on-communication-of-changes-to-womens-state-pension-age
It’s public money, ffs.
All ombudsman staff to be sacked as there's no point having them anymore

Starmer looking out for the working person with this decision.
Note there are a few edge cases that are bad caught by the tory changes in 2011.
It's not unreasonable to expect people to be aware of changes like this, even if the news isn't flagged to them personally.
2010–2018: The state pension age for women increased from 60 to 65
2018–2020: The state pension age for men and women increased from 65 to 66
This means that we were given at least 15 years notice.
“Today I will levy an additional windfall tax on the oil companies to pay full compensation to the Waspi women. Billions of pounds were made in profits in the last financial year, and this will reflect a tiny amount of that”.
Not difficult is it you weasel.
Pay WASPI.
Improve social security.
Etc…
Nobody seems to have the balls for it though? I appreciate we’re trying to unpick 14 years of Tory BS, but Starmer needs to start delivering some tangible relief to the masses, ASAP.
But he won't, cause he's just lying. He doesn't think about the taxpayer at all. He thinks of himself and his rich buds.
The man is shredding the ideals of a Labour socialist government, for his own ends.
Labour just lost 2029 General Election.
Last one out switch the lights out
Atlee, Bevan, Foot and Benn would be outraged.
I’m a fit 69 year old and I will spend the next 5 years doing my best to bring him down!!
He took my Winter Allowance away as well. He’s a traitor to the working class. A Red Tory
There is plenty of cash for war. Plenty for MPs expenses. Plenty for everyone that doesn't need it. I will never forgive Starmer for this.
Other than pensioners.
Did you spend years campaigning against cuts to disability and sickness benefits? Or tax credit unfairness? Or is it only your own financial position you care about?
Ask the people with more than 2 kids, the pensioners who've lost their WFA and the women born in the 50s.
I'm nearly 70. I'm a few quid over the Pension Credit. I've gone back to work as a decorator. I'm tired!!!
The removal of his centrist tyranny will be applauded by many here
Fuckin Tories
End the badger cull
Strictly enforce fox hunting laws
Agree a Norway style deal with the EU
Mandatory 10 year sentence for domestic violence
End MP's taking secondary jobs
His approval rating would be off the scale
That's what they wanted.
Everyone knew the pension age was changing. To say other wise they must have lived under a rock.
We’re still a top richest nation, but with a very high percentage of poor and upset people.
Time to cull the top.
