Boris and the gang were anti Euro thugs showing off. The EU sighed and shook their heads. They tried to reason and warn the UK but were ignored. And no you can't shout and demand a rematch. It's all about negotiating and a bit of damn humility. Starmer knows that.
A coalition with the Lib Dems looks a big possibility, and could that be on of their red lines?

I just wish he'd champion what's actually right and needed, more readily.
All their talk of economic growth is nonsense as long as we remain outside the EU. Whether we have to join or participate in the parts that will assist growth is irrelevant.
But to pretend otherwise, will mean inevitable decline.
Perhaps that deal will require EU SM+CU membership to finally get UK growth started?
