as a Gen Z American, there have been times I have wished the military would step in because they actually seem to care about the nation and with the amount of crisis that the politicians refuse to fix. Doesn’t mean I want a dictatorship, i want them to fix the problem and then go home.

I think the media shares some responsibility for the US currently being ruled by a dictatorship. Beyond them tho nobody wants this, from any generation; every sentient, un-brainwashed human on Earth can see democracy, when working properly and not being abused, is preferable.
