We need a special import office that is the only unit allowed to check and approve imported new American cars. It should ideally be a) extremely remote and b) understaffed. There is also a ‘fast lane’, but it attracts a 15% fee. Who thinks this might be an amusing response to the MAGA Monster?

JLR is owned by TATA, the same Indian company that owns British Steel and is closing plants.

So much of Britain is foreign owned. Over 20% of GDP is from US firms. It's 3% in France.

Add NonUS PE, UAE, China, India, Russia etc. and what is left? Vassal state even without control of it's utilities
