Nobody would look good in attack without their four best forwards. Arsenal had to muddle through this period with clean sheets. Gave up a soft goal today and never looked like scoring one, let alone two. Disappointing but not a massive surprise.

I know we're extremely short of options but we need to address our sluggish starts and develop a more diverse tactical repertoire. Our current approach lacks urgency and makes us predictable.
The seats emptying out at the Emirates early is such a poor look for the match going fans. This season hasn’t been up to expectations, but can they not spend 10 extra minutes on a nice day supporting the team? Players deserve better IMO
Agree the players deserve more, culturally they'd get it elsewhere too, plus more support would actually help and personally never leave early ... but am reluctant to point fingers at fellow fans who are handling disappointment/frustration.
Fair point Lewis. Easy to get upset at each other when things don’t go well. Just wish fans could stick together during relatively tougher times, but I suppose that would be wishful thinking for any club!
These are the "real fans who actually go to the games," and "care," and want Arsenal to "spend some fackin money" on a "world-class striker." Without understanding that injuries and corrupt officials happen.
Why don't they just stay away? Go find Robbie and complain in his next video.
I'm not going to blame Rice (obviously injured) or Ødegaard (rushed back from injury and has played non-stop since) for being below their best when they've got a child, Trossard and Mikel Merino as the three ahead of them.
The thing is I am not sure we looked that great offensively even before the injuries, hence the calls for attacking reinforcements before the season even started.
So true. It was inevitable. Reasons can be debated but at the moment it's just gutting. I hope those who run the club and make the important decisions feel this too. This team has reached its level and is running on empty. It needs an overhaul this summer.
I have no confidence in us ever coming back with the way we are setup. Injuries or no. We play so defensive. Unless arteta changes track(hard to see) we will have these results next season too.
when Odegard was injured they were missing him. Saka might be back soon, they've really been missing him. They were looking so strong and title contenders.
It'll be interesting to see what city can do against Liverpool tomorrow.
Except only Jota a Nunez are out and out forwards. The other 3 are attacking wide players who happen to score a lot. Arsenal’s lack of decent attacking options is on Arteta. Poor management.
The fact that we lasted this long shows we are a good team. We just need to add some attacking quality, some proper depth, and we'll be right amongst it next season. Zubimendi, Sesko, a left sided winger (Williams?), plus injured players back, and we can surpass Liverpool and Man City next season!

I fully expect Trump to name one to his Cabinet.
The belief went today after the WH goal IMO.

But something tells me they’d still generate more chances than we have today.
