I'll likely start anew on the Switch 2 and leave all the games I have on my Switch there. It's the OLED and this screen is pretty so I'll keep using it as a handheld.
Yeah,I'd have to make my way through all of these first.
And as long as the eshop for the Switch isn't shut down I can see myself still add to my list lol
People keep saying to make a wishlist document instead, really starting to consider it. There's only so many discounted eshop games a person can buy. Didn't expect my 1Tb and 1.5Tb memory cards to fill up so fast!
Keeping it. Originally I wanted to hack it, but depending on what Nintendo cracks down on, I'll keep in for Ring Fit which I think is one of the games not compatible with Switch 2
Also, if there's one major reason to hold off on buying a #Switch2 it's those new Express memory cards, only with time and mass manufacturing will the prices reduce. 1-2yrs is what I'm hoping for, at least for a £30-50 price reduction. 1Tb or larger will be a must.
Keeping mine cause I can still make some YouTube videos with it and I'd like to keep my controllers just in case (I've owned mine for almost 5 years and have been lucky enough to not get Joy Con drift yet)
Also I'm modding it like my other old consoles lol
Already traded mine in I’ve went through all the games having issues with backwards compatibility and it seems it’s only Harvestella and while I love that game idk if I wanna beat that final boss again lmfao
Also hoping they’ll fix it to where more games run better
I’m selling mine to my cousin’s husband at a discount so that he can access my digital purchases and get back into gaming.
(Unrelated, “My cousin’s husband” is unusually weird to say, even though it’s accurate. Especially since he’s a great dude and one of my best friends.)
i’m not investing in a switch 2 yet, but i did want to add that i can’t recall a time i’ve ever trashed a console when upgrading. they’re my little vintage memories. 🫶
When I was a kid and my dad gave me my first ps4, I thought I wouldn’t play my ps3 anymore, so I decided to trade it in for some money towards new games.

I figured they’ll probably be cheaper
huffing lots of copium tho lol
Like the old saying goes: “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.”
I've had my Switch Lite for 5 years and it still works fine. I'm pretty attached to it too, one of the best consoles I've ever had.
Gonna use it for Switch 1 games (huge backlog for it) and keep the Switch 2 for Switch 2 games
And as long as the eshop for the Switch isn't shut down I can see myself still add to my list lol
Too many great gaming memories attached to them

I’m all in on the new gen

10+ years later and I still regret it 😭
