I don't think I've tried to will a new Pokemon Pinball game into existence on here yet, so here goes... New Pokemon Pinball when? I still think about the first two constantly. We even got a Metroid Pinball before Pokemon Pinball 3. Let that sink in for a moment.

The ending to Expedition 33's Act 2 has me feeling some things. Going to take a couple of days to process how I feel while I do some adulting, then probably dig into what's next on Wednesday or Thursday. I wish I could say more, but the spoilers are intense at this point.

[Expedition 33 performs a Counter]

We continue? Oui, continue.

That moment when the game’s story is ramping up as if it’s the final battle but the game’s mechanics show that there’s at least 1/3 of the game remaining. Oooh boy, this is going to go big. I can feel it.

I’m going to put myself out there a bit more than I am used to and do the same. 64719882 Trying to break my habit of almost always appearing offline, but I will be sure to upvote good reviews and comments if you leave them.

This is… actually kind of good. That bit of funk is just what I thought it was missing. I also toned down the horseradish, which unsurprisingly is very easy to overpower the rest of the flavors. I will probably make this again.

My brain apparently broke even further and now I want to test out a Bloody Mary with some kimchi blended in to as a part of the "spicy funk" portion of the flavor profile. Going to bust out the food processor this weekend and indulge my worst impulses. Wish me luck.

Metaphor ReFantazio is officially on Game Pass now. If you have the slightest inclination toward JRPGs, you owe it to yourself to play that masterpiece.

I just learned about how the latest Elden Ring NightReign trailer is essentially a Bring Me to Life AMV I'm not one for generalizations but anyone who considers this anything less than a treasure needs to go on a pilgrimage to rediscover the spark of life they have clearly lost

Now that the Switch 2 launch is about a week away and my pre-order is still not canceled by the store, I'm starting to feel the hype. Even if my only "real" Switch 2 game for a while is Mario Kart World, I am more than excited enough for the performance boost in other games to keep me going.

100% I'm all for giving new voices a spotlight that might get them more recognition and roles in the future. Even if it somehow isn't good, we'll still have the original version to go back to. That said, if this change is *only* a cost-cutting measure for Atlus/Sega, that's seriously uncool.

Babymetal x Slaughter to Prevail... I have never clicked on a video faster. I could not be more excited for whatever Babymetal's production team is cooking up for their next full album; I am here for it 1000%.

Wish we got confirmation of Persona 6 finally coming soon instead of a P4 remake. Feels like that entry is not at all in need of a revamp. I’m sure I’ll replay it if it hits Game Pass like P3R, but I’m in no rush.

I really appreciate Nick's take here. A burgeoning "AA" space with reasonably scoped budgets and sales expectations alongside a thriving indie scene is a very good thing. Curious to see what happens in and to the extremely high budget end of the spectrum in the coming years.

I don’t know what broke in my brain, but I just made a Bloody Mary on a whim and… I actually kind of like it? I’ve always HATED raw tomatoes/tomato juice/V8 to the point that even a tiny bite or sip could trigger my gag reflex. But suddenly I’m cool with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Binged Expedition 33 for like 8 or 9 hours today now that I’m finally back home. Man, what a game. I’m not even through act 2 and I’m already looking forward to replaying it.

I love my niece and nephew to pieces, but being childfree myself they are indescribably exhausting to be around. (2-4 years old) Still, a long weekend with my family was a great cap on this vacation. Will finally be home in a few hours and then one more whole day to relax.

I am, perhaps, unreasonably excited for the Switch 2 versions of BotW and TotK. I probably wouldn’t pay the $10 upgrade fee, but being included with the online subscription that I split with my family moved them way up my (re)play list.

Visiting the PNW and experiencing 50’s in May then coming back to 85-90 temps in FL has helped light another fire under me to get out of this lousy state. Moving across the country scares the crap out of me, but I’ll be scouting some spots in person as soon as I accumulate some more vacation time.

Loathe’s new single slaps. Sleep Token’s new album is fantastic. Dance Gavin Dance’s lead singles for their new album are great (I do prefer Andrew’s vocals over Tillian’s if you care). Never mind Spiritbox, Silverstein, Architects, L.S. Dunes… this year’s music is turning up great for me.

The inflation argument in here is particularly salient to me. Sure, everything is getting more expensive and $60-80 back in ‘95 is like $120+ now or whatever, but pointing that out ignores the fact that $80 today is STILL expensive for many. (And frankly sounds a bit corpo-boot-licky to me.)

Absolute steal for this game via Fanatical. Highly recommended.

I thought I’d play games during my vacation downtime, but instead I finally read “Death’s End” (book 3 of “The Three Body Problem”). I have some conflicting thoughts, but it’s hard to say anything without spoilers. Ultimately, it was appropriately detached from humanity yet still gut wrenching.

Technically I still have off through Memorial Day, but this holds true every single vacation. Had more than my share of time in airports and airplanes, ready to just spend the next few days relaxing and dreading my return to the soul crushing drudgery. At least this helped my burnout.

Finally almost vacation time. Can’t wait to disconnect from everything and just relax, I’m really hoping 2 weeks is enough to help at least some of this burnout I’m feeling. Probably will be almost entirely absent from here until the end of the month. Take care and stay cool. ✌️

Yeah, sorry, having never been into GTA the new trailer does nothing for me. Sure the visual details and animations are stupefyingly impressive, but that's the last thing that I look for in a game. Besides, I live in FL. I can just look out my window and see it play out in real time.

I’m sorry, but calling your new studio Team LFG feels like a Devolver Digital skit. Gives me major “fellow kids” energy with a dash of “family-friendly edginess,” if that makes any sense. I’m not dismissing them outright, but that’s a cringe-inducing first impression for me.
