I'd go even further: I & many other women saw the men in Congress agreeing that sexual abuse & rape of women was a perk they ALL agreed must remain available--not just to them, but to all men, by birthright.

I also went to high school in Montgomery County in the 1980s, when date rape was not acknowledged as rape, & hardly anyone talked about those kinds of situations at all, yet girls still got warned about going to Georgetown Prep parties.
