This is what I don’t get, why are all the products built out of the jewel just the patterns of light it scatters on the walls? The most important parts of it would have to be linguistic relations between concepts, why has no one sold me idea math from the LLMs ?

Oh, well! Yeah I think the thing you’re asking for is a real thing you can buy you just need to be technical to use it at this point. The famous mind blowing thing from 10 years ago was you could type “king - man + woman” in and it would give you “queen”

Yes that’s basically exactly what I’m talking about, my main problem at this point with LLMs and the big AI marketing stuff is as a consumer, all of the work of determining a value proposition to The Language Crystal has been outsourced to me. Writing tools shouldn’t be chatbots

Yeah I think as time goes on companies will build products on top of LLMs that feel more natural. Like coding tools, there is a chat or bit there’s a lot of other non-chatbot things they can do. I’m sure other areas will get there.
