But we *are* realistically in danger of actual working artists being squeezed out of being able to make a living in their preferred profession because of the proliferation of ai slop.
I’m pessimistic that suing the slop machine owners for copyright infringement is going to stop the slop machines.
But I don’t know what else will.
If nothing else killing Chat GPT (and as many of its imitators as possible) seems like a reasonable trade for letting Disney keep its back catalogue from going into the public domain.
And then i realized too much information, and copying bad information, goes badly. IP can't fix that.
I would guess use of ebooks is limited and so is circumstances and purposes for which files may be copied.
