Slack has slightly more than usual control over iOS level settings for underlining links, reduced animation and “raise to listen” with huddles

Interesting doing a roundup. Some app accessibility display settings seem unnecessary as people tend to change settings at device level if they have a preference.

And can do it for each app separately in iOS now

It is interesting, I generally use dark mode but I hate the design of some apps so much I use the setting to go against it.

I’m also chasing my tail with font size. I have an OS increase but if the app uses a decent size to start with it’s too big.

Fintech beginning with M has a few own goals though, increase contrast makes some elements brighter but actually reduces text contrast on things like buttons, which I seem to remember fail contrast anyway.

it seems to be the only accessibility setting but Trello has a “color blind mode” that adds textures to coloured tiles.

Might not be what you are looking for but the game Mini Motorway has a really good colour blind mode. And it doesn't detract from the game experience at all.

I forget which one it was but there was a banking app that introduced left handed mode. I thought that was pretty cool. Again I can’t remember which one but another banking app introduced an anti tremor setting which would steady the UI.

I’ll dig them out when I get home. I also thought the uber “contactless delivery” was an amazing accidental inclusive design feature on uber eats.
