4 days left to apply for this ace role in our team 😃 Please share for reach 🙏🏻

Does anyone know if the AI has figured out how to stop eating 500 calories while cooking dinner?

I wasn't planning on crying today, but this just popped up on YouTube, and, well, here I am, happy crying. What a sensationally talented little girl Lucy is. Her piano teacher is equally as brilliant, unlocking her potential by putting her hands on his so she could feel the notes as he played.

My daughter's school uses an app called Class Dojo. I must receive, not even exaggerating, 30 emails a day from them. In my day, you just got a written report once a year, and I'd be sent home with a letter if the school was planning a trip.

I’m starting to think about Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). Last year, I made time to help others with their events. I’m planning on doing the same this year, so if you think I can help, let me know. I can speak at your event, or help you brainstorm and plan. I’ll do this for free.

I've started casting spells on people on LinkedIn who claim to be accessibility specialists, but all of their content is carousels with no alt text.

As the deadline for the European Accessibility Act (EAA) approaches, Accessibility Lead Danny has looked at each of the EU member states (and the UK) to assess their digital accessibility maturity, and how well individual countries are positioned to meet the changing landscape: tinyurl.com/5b2f6zpz

I've said this before, but I really do get to work with some brilliant people at GDS. I'm very lucky to have @wilsond.bsky.social on my team. He's exceptional. He has compiled the most comprehensive and well-designed accessibility report I think I've ever seen for one of our mobile apps.

This is great, well done @andyjones.bsky.social, @crux93.bsky.social!

Come and work with me as a Lead Service Designer, we’ll be working in the same directorate- happy to chat if anyone wants more info.

I’ve always found it hard to have a house full of folks on special occasions. Lots of noise etc. Before my autism diagnosis, I’d end up in arguments with my wife because I was being “rude” for taking myself away for a little bit when things got a bit much. It’s so much better now…

We're hiring for an Associate Product Support Manager ✨ The role is a blend of product, delivery and business analysis and an ideal jumping off point for anyone wanting to switch to digital from another civil service profession. www.civilservicejobs.service.gov.uk/csr/index.cg...

Remember, people are disabled by bad assumptions, design, code, architecture, content, processes, policies, go governance, attitudes and biases, to name a few. So before you say accessibility is done FOR disabilities, recognise it’s our decisions that disable our users.

My nana is pretty good with technology. She spends her days on Facebook, telling everyone about the weather forecast and sharing photos of lost dogs from other countries. She just shared one of a lost dog in Kentucky and commented, "Shared, South Shields" 🤣🤣

Certified class clown here, so there's loads. But the one that got me into the most trouble was climbing out of a window during class and taking about 20 feet of blinds with me. I got grounded for about a month for that one.
