I’m down at a caravan in Windermere for the weekend. Thought it’d be funny to wake my brother up, so I went down to his caravan and screamed “Can I get a ohhh yeaaah?!” Through his window at 7am. The only issue being I got the wrong caravan, and I was met with a VERY angry woman 🤣🤦

I've got almost four decades of experience in the 'aim for the bowl' Olympics. A seasoned gold medalist. Yet my wife still side-eyes me every day when there's a single drop on the seat. Meanwhile, the actual culprit, my three-year-old human sprinkler system, is getting off with impunity.

Does anyone happen to know what either of these two plants are that have suddenly showed up in my garden this year? The pink flower is so beautiful and bright. I thought the second one was chives until they grew massive and flowered what looks like grass out of their tops.

It’ll be a year this Sunday since I suddenly lost my dad. I can’t wrap my head around the fact it’s been a year already. Grief has returned with a vengeance over weekend, it’s all so raw again. This is the last picture ever taken of him and it’s also my favourite picture of him.

I see a lot of myself in my younger brother. We went different paths in life, he went into a trade, me more corporate. He fell into cocaine addiction, me alcohl. Both smashing recovery. We’re both “jack the lad” types. A laugh a minute. But I see in him what I saw in myself at his age. He’s hurting.

If you’re someone who loves metrics related to your health, I recommend the app “Athlytic”. I’m an Apple Watch user but I really wanted “Whoop” data on recovery, sleep, stress and other things. This app takes data from health and gives you it all. 7 day trial then 25 quid a year. It’s really good!

You shouldn’t proclaim yourself to be a “full stack developer” if you cannot write good, semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I think I’ve only ever met two developers in my career who I’d consider legitimate full stack developers. Absolute masters at their crafts inside and out.
