If these guys are geniuses at finding "waste," why do they have such trouble finding government employees they fire before realizing in a panic that letting them go was a threat to national security or public health?

There's this, there has been reporting that they got numbers wrong & massively overstated, by tens of billions, the amount of the fraud. But Trump & Musk are claiming that the federal gov't is incompetent? That it is full of fraud & waste? Give me the fed'l bureaucracy any day over these buffoons.
