they're both bad in equal ways. in euston you're going to get blinded by bright OLED advertisements, then trampled to death as you stumble around looking for help.
In Birmingham New Street, although the "A" side has barriers between platform zones for some reason, you can just go to the "B" side of any platform you're on, walk up the stairs there, and then you've got a whole area of *every* platform number without any ticket barriers between them

Hard agree. Paddington also sucks. The signals are broken 50% of the time, it's extremely rare that a train leaves on time. And they never announce the freaking train platform until 1 min before the train leaves so everyone ends up SPRINTING to the train. It's my weekly cardio honestly.
