On the segregation issue, I'm not sure that I'll get over the fact that the demographics of who lives in our school district is almost exactly the opposite of who goes to our public schools.

We have a very specific version of vouchers in VT but even those it was discovered private schools were charging school districts above list price to take their students. When asked to lower the costs because of budget issues, they said no.

Voucher programs are a main policy in Chapter 11 of Project 2025. It sound wonderful but it is in fact segregation and allows elite funding for the wealthy private and religious schools and lost funding to inner-city public schools. Tipping the scales of who gets a good education and who doesn't.

Any kind of privatizing a government program is way more costly than if it was ran by the government. The service does not improve, but the cost goes up. Like you say, it was done on purpose, to fuck up the education system. Seems like they want to replace the curriculum with the bible.
