I'm not familiar with the FATE system, heck I've been playing TTRPGs for less than a year but I do love making interesting characters. I am curious though, what would you think of a character that uses magical masks like LoZ:MM to use as a rogue type disguise character? Would it work with FATE?

Narratively, the FATE system(s) allow for a lot. Extra things like that would probably be covered with Stunts (which attach specific abilities to your basic Skills).

It would take some balancing, and you likely wouldn't have a ton of masks to use at the start, but it could be possible.

I honestly think that'd be a cool idea. I got 3 Zora character OCs who are magic mask salesmen in my writings and RPs. Got one who looks like a Koi, one who is a big buff Killer Whale and a third who is more of a kraken that's also strong looking but is very regal in his speech and hobbies.

Overall it sounds fun. But IDK if it'd be too much of a match since I'm still new to playing this stuff and I'm sure you'd find more people interested in this who are more skilled. But it did at least open my eyes to FATE.

Only other idea I'd have is a silly Wolfos who is a good boy
