Remember: by and large, TFG's brownshirts are cowards, much like TFG himself. When even a small amount of resistance builds, they crumble like dried-up dogshit. (Another important part of this story is that the local police stayed largely uninvolved and declined to assist the brownshirts.)

Honestly, it's good that @furryweekend.com is going to have people monitoring the elevators, but unless they put people on the bottom floor to say "All right, everybody off" and not let the elevators go again until everyone gets off, I have little faith that people will be respectful.

In regard to my last post, I would actually really like to get a laser printer, and they're not TERRIBLY expensive, but that's still going to be $150 or so, which is a bit outside of my current budget. It's something I'm thinking about though.

Today's "contact my congressman" fun was to write a physical letter using my typewriter (I don't own a printer; I should probably fix that >.>), then send it via snail mail. I've heard physical letters are less likely to be ignored? I don't know if that's true, but it's worth a shot.

I'm not a tax pro, but a few things I've learned over the years: - You probably CAN'T just claim your art stuff as hobby income. It's self-employment income, which goes on Schedule C. - There is no "filing threshold" for Schedule C. If you made ANY self-employment income - ANY - you have to file.
