Ya know, I mostly love the convenience of streaming. Besides all the platforms/costs, I mostly love all the options & solid programming.
But I’d give it up to return to the old norm for the industry’s workers’ sake. I seriously would.

Reminds me that the "magic number" for a successful syndication package used to be 100 episodes. In the mid-2010s TBS tried to speed-run that with a couple of sitcoms, for example the TV version of "Are We There Yet" which somehow produced and aired 100 episodes in 2.5 years.

And restore shorter commercial breaks per television episode (e.g. ST:VOY S1-5 show lengths of 0:46 vs S6-7 of 0:43). I still have PTSD from the obnoxious UPN commercials. It’s a reason I stopped watching first-run VOY and ENT episodes. Extended ad time became a race to the bottom. #ADHD 🖖🏻

I want analog tv so that I am not at the mercy of my cable company when they decide to drop channels I pay for.

I'm so bummed that more shows don't do art books! It's a great learning tool and it's like printing money, especially if the book doesn't have any long descriptions. I would literally take just a wordless compilation of concept art and crew pics from so many of my fave shows lol
